About Price Guide – Pakistan’s Daily Construction & Solar Price Authority
Who We Are
Price Guide is trusted by 500k+ users. It is Pakistan’s most trusted daily price tracking platform for construction materials and solar equipment. Founded in Rawalpindi, we exist for one reason: to ensure no Pakistani homeowner, contractor, or engineer ever overpays due to a lack of access to accurate market information.
Furthermore, it contains updated construction material rates, such as bricks, cement, and steel. Millions of Pakistanis make purchasing decisions every day. They are ordering cement for a grey structure, buying solar panels for load-shedding backup, and sourcing steel for a roof slab. But they don’t know whether the price they are being quoted is fair. Dealers know the market. Suppliers know the market. For too long, the buyer did not. Price Guide changes that.
Our Story
Price Guide was founded by Muhammad Saqib, a construction market researcher based in Rawalpindi. He made it after a personal experience that will feel familiar to anyone who has built a home in Pakistan.
While managing his own construction project, Saqib discovered that cement prices varied by PKR 50–80 per bag. It depends on which dealer you called, which area of the city you bought from, and which day of the week you purchased. Steel rates shifted without warning. Crush prices differed between suppliers on the same street. There was no single reliable source that a buyer could consult before making a call.
So he built one.
What started as a personal spreadsheet tracking daily rates across Rawalpindi and Lahore markets grew into Price Guide — a platform now trusted by over 500,000 users across Pakistan who check our rates before every major material purchase.
What We Cover
Price Guide publishes daily verified prices across two core verticals:
Construction Materials
We track daily market rates for every material a Pakistani grey structure and finishing project requires. It includes cement, steel, bricks, sand, crushed marble, tiles, sanitary fittings, and PPRC pipes. Prices are published for all major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar. We cover all major brands, all cement types, including OPC, SRC, and white cement. Moreover, we cover all steel grades.
Solar Equipment
We track daily prices for solar panels, inverters, and batteries from all major brands available in the Pakistani market. Our solar price pages help homeowners compare panel wattage costs, inverter capacity pricing, and battery backup rates before visiting any dealer.
How We Verify Our Prices
Every price published on Price Guide is verified through direct contact with dealers, distributors, and authorized brand depots across Pakistan’s major cities before publication. We do not scrape competitor websites or republish unverified figures.
Our verification process works like this. Each morning, our team contacts supplier networks in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and other major cities to confirm whether rates have moved from the previous day. Prices change regularly due to fuel cost adjustments, rupee movement, seasonal demand shifts, or manufacturer announcements. We update our pages before 9 am. If prices are unchanged, we verify this and update the last-confirmed timestamp so readers always know exactly when the data was last checked.
We also maintain relationships with authorized brand dealers for Bestway, DG Khan Cement, Lucky Cement, Maple Leaf, Kohat Cement, and major steel mills so that price changes announced at the manufacturer level reach our pages before they reach the retail market.
Why Trust Price Guide
We are specialists, not generalists. Construction and solar pricing are all we do. We do not dilute our expertise across mobile phone prices, gold rates, and cricket scores. When you need to know what cement costs in Lahore today, you are consulting a team that has tracked exactly that question every single day for years.
We are on the ground in Pakistan. Our team is based in Rawalpindi and Lahore. We understand that the cement rate in Lahore is structurally higher than in Rawalpindi because of the transport distance from production plants. We understand that construction demand peaks in March and September, and what that does to prices. We understand how Pakistani dealers operate, how to identify degraded cement stock, and how to read a soil test report. This is local expertise built through years of market contact — not content generated from behind a desk.
We publish for buyers, not for search engines. Every page on Price Guide is written to answer the question a real Pakistani buyer is asking before making a real purchasing decision. Our cement pages include bag estimation guides, quality checking advice, city price comparisons, and price trend history because a buyer needs all of that information, not just a number in a table.
We have no commercial relationship with the brands we cover. Price Guide does not accept payment from cement companies, steel mills, or solar brands to influence our price reporting. The rates we publish reflect actual market prices regardless of which brand they favor on any given day. Our only obligation is to the buyer reading our pages.
Our Team
Muhammad Saqib, Founder & Lead Researcher
Muhammad has spent 5 years tracking construction material and solar equipment prices across Pakistan’s major cities. He maintains direct contact with dealer networks in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi, and oversees all price verification before publication. His work has been driven by a single conviction: that accurate market information should be freely available to every Pakistani buyer, not just to those with industry connections.
Our Mission
To be the most accurate, most trusted, and most useful daily price resource for every Pakistani making a construction or solar purchasing decision. The buyer always walks into a negotiation as informed as the seller.
